Panorama view of our backyard- Just to share a little bit of info of what's in the backyard now..

Not a gardening space, reserved for children to play
(rumput dah naik panjang sbb Abu is very busy lately, still could not find time for it)
On the corner, the big trees and recycles side..
Pokok limau nipis, mandarin oranges (2 pokok) dan pokok kari (sebelah kanan)
Dicelah2 pokok tempat simpan recycle woods dan besi2 lama

Soon will be the area utk pokok2 yg menjalar - From right - pumpkins, watermelons,
carrots, capsicums, long beans

At the back,
all just planted recently, still pretty small - petola ayut, red beans, labu tumbuh sendiri & in the middle tomatoes

Still at the back but closer to the greenhouse,
Fr left - kacang buncis, right - long beans & cucumbers (hidden at the back)
On the side of the greenhouse,
Cauliflowers, eng.cabbages & tomatoes
tomato plants are drying out - finishing soon
Inside the greenhouse,
celeries, small sawi, pak choy, cauliflowers..(almost running out of green veges now)
At the back - close to the fence,
Fr left-1 empty bed, cauliflowers & 4 small beds empty. (to plant eng. cabbages soon)
One small garden, managed by 1 person?....we didn't build it overnight or in a month but slowly, one at a time, keep raising beds, keep sowing seeds, keep planting, keep watering, keep weeding, keep harvesting, keep removing, keep replacing, an the cycle keep continuing.. .and now alhamdulillah it's not as difficult as we thought before starting...

Luasnya kebun dan tanahnya juga subur.Alhamdulillah, tumpang gembira hidup anak malaysia, berjaya dirantauan.

ReplyDeleteI just want to say your garden is awesome :-) Luasnya, memang boleh self-sufficient ni. Saya pun masih di peringkat cuba-cuba tanaman apa yang sesuai dengan laman dan selera makan, dan paling penting saya mampu menjaga tanaman tersebut. Bila melihat banyak pokok kacang, macam ada lightbulb go off in my brain. Yes, this is how it's supposed to be.
Nak tanya pasal tomato tu, biasanya berapa lama dia berbuah sebelum dia dry out?
Thanks mama..yg asalnya cuma 3,4 batas jer ..tuh pun tanam masa musim lebih sejuk sikit tanam kobis, maklumlah anak sgt kecik masa tu..only lps sejak buat greenhouse..dah invest so Abunya cakap kena bertanam serius sket leh balik modal kan.. tomota tu berbuah nak jd masak dah take like a month, so kita kira masa mula masak..like tomato tu mula masak 15/7/12 now dah hampir sebulan pokok dah mula mengering...
Deleteluas lah area untuk menanam. banyak pokok untuk setiap jenis pulak. beruntung ni kalau jadi jiran akak. heheh. sejuk hati, sejuk mata. moga tuaian akan sentiasa baik dan banyak :)
