It's always better to preserve on our own rather than buying from outside, save money, fresher & very easy to do.

Just leave any of them on the tree until dried out.

DeleteThis usually happens to me when I travel or forget to harvest the beans on time. Do you notice that the plant 'merajuk' for a while after we leave the beans to grow old on the plant? Takes a bit of time for it to start flowering again in my case.
ReplyDeletemama, yg i realised if the beans grow old, the flower also makin sikit..kacang become shorter, slowly slowly pokok mengering. somehow i realised yg kacang nie blh produce cuma dlm tempoh sebulan lebih sikit jer..tak tahu pulak variety lain kan..
Deletehaha. same happen to cucumber. If there are 2 cucumbers growing on the plant, u have to harvest yg 1st one tu. If not u will see the size of 2nd cucumber kecil ja tak mao membesar. One u harvest the 1st one, cepat dia membesar.
DeleteUmmuaidan, i tak preserve seed. sebab tak cukup makan :P tell u a secret, i got those long bean seeds from supermarket. i purposely pick the fresh long bean yg lebih tua (tu yg mengembang & colornya kurang hijau) then i take the seeds...kadang kadang germinate, kadang -kadang tak...jahat kan i. tu la pasal i only hav one long bean plant ^m^
OOO..yg harvest the first one tu yang tak peka sangat..mungkin main harvest jer once ready...

ya. u r right. susah mao germinate. tat's y only one yg survive. dah beli dah seeds tu..now dunno wer to plant pulak..pengsan!
